Life, without knowing when my Irish visa will be issued, continues….
In-between doing training (Big 5 Labour Legislation) last week, we are also busy with recruitment. This is always such a pleasure because someone becomes employed and will earn an honest income!
The flip side is that it is so concerning how many people don’t have jobs and then to see the very poor quality of CVs.
Who will employ people with spelling errors and false information on their CV?

It is vital to check and check again before embarking on spending valuable time to interview.
Employers are sometimes in a rush to fill a position and that can easily cloud your judgement, or important details can be overlooked.
This reminds me to share that an interview is just ONE (1) tool to use when looking for a person who would add significant value to your team! I have, in the past, mentioned how important it is to do job-related assessments like case studies, practical and situational questions, presentations, research projects etc. Our advice: do these before even arranging to meet the person for an interview!
