Happy Woman’s Day tomorrow!
My lovely running buddy happens to be a winemaker (lucky me!). She invited me to attend an event last night where all the winemakers were women. It is so heartwarming to experience women who are being recognised, accepted, celebrated and appreciated! Not to even mention the amazing excellent quality wine I tasted! Here are some details of my running buddy’s wine!

August is Women’s Month: Where we celebrate the legacy and progress in advancing Women’s rights.
What is the significance of all this? Has it changed the lives of ALL women living in our rainbow nation??
When I researched this, I discovered that Women’s
Day celebrates a women’s march in 1956 (YES, before I was born J), where more than 20 000 women marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria. And this is where it all started……!!!
Did you know… The Constitution does not only promote equality but also prohibits gender discrimination.
My wish for Women’s Month is that we honour those women who made those differences, took those challenges, live to tell the story, celebrate who they became – AND look WITHIN, to the woman YOU are!!
The difference YOU make, the PEOPLE you empowered!!
