Uluma HR’s story started when the founding member, Margaux, was retrenched twice in one year (1997) and then made the decision that it would never happen again in her life.  This was when Uluma HR was born.

The name Uluma came from her father who had this ‘word’ for the 3 women in his life, like an acronym with the first 2 letters of our names, i.e. mother, ULeen, sister, UMari and her name MArgaux = ULUMA . HR for Human Resources, her passion for people in the workplace.

Over the years we have been helping employers and employees to work with PURPOSE in EXCELLENCE, adding SIGNIFICANT value and growth.

Margaux Gaigher (was Reitsma), has a B.Com Industrial Psychology degree and is also an accredited facilitator and assessor. With over twenty years’ experience in the HR industry, she has assisted companies in a variety of industries over the last few years to develop and implement Human Resources policies and procedures.
